WEIGHT MANAGEMENT

WEIGHT MANAGEMENT new york, we love new york

Genetic factors determine how susceptible the individual is to becoming overweight when exposed to unfavourable environmental conditions (such as overeating and/or a low level of exercise), and how the body responds to certain diets and exercise. Humans are on average 99.9% genetically identical and only 0.01% accounts for 3 million differences between people. These differences are called single nucleotide polymorphisms or SNPs. SNPs are located in genes or near the genes.

Because all cells contain two copies of each chromosome you may have two identical or two different copies of each SNP. Genes contain information needed to make proteins. Proteins are the molecules that actually do things in cells, but they are only made when, where and how the genes instruct. Genes are part of your DNA.
